Here you'll find the comments of 3 satisfied customers of LUSH Cosmetics
. All three customers were very satisfied with the products they tried and continually use. With their personal comments about LUSH Cosmetics
in general you get to find out what they think of several of the individual products.

Ihave to say I'm skeptical about the all natural skin products. I have oily skin and feel I need more.well a friend and I had gone into lush a few weeks back and I fell in love, I had 2 demonstrations and learned a few things, it was great. I took home the braisened honey, I believe It"s called facial mask, the charcoal ex foliating cleanser and a sample of the enzyme moisturizer . I could instantly tell the difference once I had used them, I'm very impressed and would definitely go back. The staff was extremely helpful not to pushy but very very happy to help, there amazing sales technique just made you wanna get more items because they made everything sound so great..very happy customer i I was...

The biggest problem that I have with this store is that no matter how little I NEED going in, I always leave with a giant sack that I could crawl into and set up camp in.

Having noted that, I suppose there's a reason I can never spend less than, well, a lot in that store.

I've fallen for their cake shampoo and masks especially. The shampoo lasts a lifetime (in shampoo years) and has yet to go bad on me because it takes so little to get a good lather. It also rinses clean very quickly and leaves no strange residue that so many "normal" shampoo products do.

The mask I'd used was blueberry (I'm sorry but I can barely remember my own name and have promptly forgotten the cute little nickname they gave this mask) and not only did it smell lovely, it was one of the very few skincare products I've used that didn't make me break out afterwards. It left my skin feeling fresh and new.

I'm also a huge fan of Ocean Salts for a daily cleanser. I have tough skin I guess. While not overly oily or greasy, the salts didn't dry me out as the staff worried they might if used on a daily basis...but use this at your own discretion.

As for the staff themselves at this location, they are wonderful. There is none of the pretense that many may expect to find on Newbury Street. I've been in a few times, but not in close succession, and yet they remember me. While they're always willing to help you fill your basket to the brim, they're not too pushy. They are, however, very knowledgeable about their products and that is the most important trait one should look for in a sales person. Sadly, it's a trait that is harder and harder to find as time goes on.

While I still have plenty of bath bombs, I am running low on shampoo, I need some more soap and I'm out of masks and Ocean Salts. I think it's time...oh dear bank account, brace yourself.

MY DEFINITION OF LUSH: EXTREME MOISTURE FROM PRETTY SMELLING THINGS THAT SLOUGH, SMOOTH AND SHINE.

For my 100th review I think I will review Lush.

HOW DO I LUSH THE? LET ME COUNT THE WAYS:

This is my best of the best list.

Veganese conditioner: Silicone Free! Smells like lemon pudding

Ma Bar Bubble Bar: Smells like chocolate buttery caramel, vanilla & a with random cubes of brown sugar. Makes incredibly DENSE bubbles.

Angels on Bare Skin: Crushed almonds scrub, leaves skin SUPER smooth. Add a tiny bit of water. Scrub face. Leaves it soft and glowy

Honey I Washed the Kids soap. I also keep a bar JUST for the smell in my bathroom. Seriously. One bar makes my whole bathroom smell like toffee, honey and chocolate.

TIP: So you don't waste their soap (since it is expensive) Slice slivers off every week. Just enough for a few showers at a time.

Silky Under wear Dustin Powder: It makes your skin feel SILKY, just like it says... because of the coco butter it contains. Smells like a sweet floral vanilla....no need to wear perfume with this. It is just a nicely scented Talc powder that makes your skin silky....I sprinkle on my bed sheets for a nice treat.TIP: Get a bug puff and sprinkle the powder on it for body application. That way it won't go everywhere

Big: Shampoo that is salt that melts in your hair and makes HUGE suds. You need very little, maybe a dime sized dab. The foam is stiff and huge and my hair is nice, full and SHINY.....I alternate with ION hardwater (sally's beauty) These two poo's have made a world of difference using Boston crappy water

Butter Ball Bath Bomb: WARNING EXTREME moisture!@ If you are able to take baths but not really into them...this will change your mind. This bomb Smells lovely, softens the water, moisturizes the skin and doesn't leave a mess in the tub. It doesn't change the color of your water of leave petals everywhere. My skin is so soft I can feel the smoothness the next day......

TIP: I pedi and shave when i'm done so I can enjoy nice clean smelling water-you will be smooth as a babys butt!

Ocean Salt: BE CAREFUL. This is a hard core salt scrub. But that is how I like it. For someone like me, who is SCARED of dry skin...this is perfect. Use on dry skin (feet, elbows, knees) or else the salt will melt away........Don't use on face. Plus it has Vodka in it. That's just cool.

Buffy the Backside Slayer: this stuff is great. You can opt to have it in a canister or not. an in-shower body conditioner complete with ex foliation....it's got granules of rice, almonds and aduki beans in a base chock full of cocoa butter. Cocoa butter is terrific for adding moisture to your skin. It makes skin supple and elastic, and the scrubbies scrub away dead skin particles. You don't need a lot, just use your body soap as usual, then take Buffy and run up your arm, torso, legs (great after shaving!) and your bottom. Than rub in. The water will start beading up on your skin, then rinse off, and towel dry. TIP: Any little piece that falls off, use as a lip exfoliator.

Rock Star: Bar Soap.........I have no idea why they called this Rock Star as it is Barbie Pink, but all I know is it smells awesome fantastic! Like cotton candy cupcakes with vanilla frosting. I find that it smells better in the shower and next to my sink, than it did in the store. The divine smell lingers in the bathroom after I use it.I can't say it's super moisturizing but it's not drying for my normal to dry skin either

Dream Cream- I know people who SWEAR this clears their acne, Exczima (sp.?) and scars....This cream is perfect when my skin is acting up or my hands need a treat....it has Essential oils and smells like I love the soothing scents of lavender and calamine, so I don't at all mind the scent of this product..........works perfect is my legs are irritated from shaving

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar- This smells sweet and makes a ton of bubbles. TIP:Be sure to put in a nylon knee high, because it separates quickly

Flying Fox Shower Gel: In a hot shower this turns to a honey and then the jasmine and ylang ylang all dancing around in your shower. Scent last all day

Fig and leaves soap : Wicked scent, looks gorgeous, cruelty-free, exfoliates and moisturizes.

Alkmaar Soap: Doesn't smell so good until it gets wets Jasmine, vanilla and floral.......Oh my!

Tea Tree Water: Awesome alcohol free toner

So run to Lush. It may be expensive but I think of all the money I burn on cheap stuff trying to find something awesome. If I just stick with what I love, it saves me money in the end.
